Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has unveiled the AI-driven “Haryana Budget Janbhagidari” portal, a pioneering initiative that invites citizens to directly contribute to the state’s 2026–27 budget-making process.

Traditionally, state budgets have been crafted behind closed doors, with limited public input. The new portal changes that by enabling residents, experts, and stakeholders to share suggestions on priorities like health, education, agriculture, and infrastructure.

  • Citizens can submit ideas in Haryanvi, Hindi, or English, ensuring inclusivity across diverse communities.
  • Inputs can be shared via QR code, missed call, or online submission, making participation accessible even in rural areas.

At the heart of the portal is an AI assistant named Pooja, designed to interact with citizens, record their inputs, and categorize them intelligently.
